wakillon
Nice ! Declare Global variables in function or main loop is not recommended. Is there an other version using something else than cursors ? DatMCEyeBall
@wakillon - The global declarations that are "In the loop" (lines 113 and 114), only happen once you click the menu item, so to me that is not *"bad coding practice". *"bad coding practice" is quoted from guiness. @UEZ - Is it possible to keep the clock ticking when it is dragged / menu is shown? Might I add, a way to lower CPU usage, shows about 10-35% here. You where right that GDI+ is fun, can't wait to learn more! UEZ
Yes, you can drag the gui while the clock is still ticking (very short interruption) GUIRegisterMsg($WM_TIMER, "Your function") ;$WM_TIMER = 0x0113 DllCall("User32.dll", "int", "SetTimer", "hwnd", <handle of your gui>, "int", 0, "int", <milliseconds>, "int", 0) You don't need to calculate the whole clock, only hr, min and sec. Just calculate the clock one time without hr, min and sec and save it in a seperate bitmap. Copy this bitmap the gfx handle, calculate hr, min and sec and draw it over the bitmap. DatMCEyeBall
Variables should be declared outside any form of a loop. And if it's an array that needs re-sizing? ReDim, right? @UEZ - I managed to do that without any WM_TIMER events just the WM_NCHITTEST one, it's in another script that I'm working on... DatMCEyeBall
It is my code, the contents of the exit function where placed after the WEnd when I was testing it, people who I showed it to clicked on the tray icons exit and the script didn't play the exit animation, so I added a function (_Exit()) and a OnAutoItExitRegister so it would play the animation if you close it either way. So I was lazy to check the function. Clear enough? Edited October 8, 2013 by DatMCEyeBall "Just be fred, all we gotta do, just be fred." -Vocaliod "That is a Hadouken. Lakes
A clock made of little clocks? 2015 - Still no flying cars, instead blankets with sleeves.
DatMCEyeBall
May be an other custom cursor ! Take the _WCursorpng() etc. functions and replace them with your own! A clock made of little clocks? Might put too much strain on the processor. What about a clock made of numbers, the second hand is made up of @sec values? Draygoes
Brilliant, and fun to play with! Keep it up friend!
