Is there a way set default browser chrome in windows 8?

Can I do this programmatically? To use in windows 8 chrome in metro mode (full screen mode), you need to set it as default. So every time switching from internet explorer to chrome and vice versa I need to set them to default. I need a shortcut to call everyone of them and set them default at the same time.. This is the idea.. If anyone can help.. Thanks ,

in general, first you need to figure out how to do it by a registry change:

then to implement it should be very easy. you can probably do it even with batch file, may prove much quicker and simpler in this case.

Thanks but I tried the registry solution but didn't worked.. I have chrome last beta if it plays any role.. I will try chrome normal version, but I don't thing I will see any difference.
