Look at MsgBox() and you will see those "variables" are actually constants e.g. $IDCANCEL, as AutoIt isn't case-sensitive, but when in Local scope AutoIt uses the local variables and not the global constants. So one option is to change the conflicting variables in the example(s) or revisit MsgBox() to change those return values. I would rather change the example(s) if I am honest. You're the first to report this, which leads me to believe people aren't tearing the examples apart e.g. moving outside of the function. The entry for $WS_EX_MDICHILD says this: "Create a child window included in its parent window (simulation not real MDI)." Which I can understand. It's clear that MDICHILD will make a simulated mdichild. In the extended style table in GUI Control Styles it says this for the $WS_EX_MDICHILD entry: ".(simulation of a MDI window maximize/minimize are not simulated)." This isn't saying the same thing if you ask me. Edit: I see the error in my ways. Why can't I think tonight? Lol, tonight has been a comedy of errors. You don't even know. Well, if it makes me feel better there are those typos in the GUI Control Styles that I quoted above. At least I have that going for me. Or just copy from the GUICreate extended style table, "Create a child window included in its parent window (simulation not real MDI)." Edit: also, should this sentence be in there too? "When using $WS_EX_MDICHILD the position is relative to client area of the parent window. " Edit2: basically, the whole thing is confusing to me for some reason. I don't know if it's my reading comprehension skills or what. Prefer _SQLite_GetTable[2d] or _SQLite_QuerySingleRow. This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available).
