If Number($aVersion1[$i]) > Number($aVersion2[$i]) Then Return 1 ElseIf Number($aVersion1[$i]) < Number($aVersion2[$i]) Then Return -1 EndIf Else ; Compare the segment as strings The SetExtended(2) will set @extended to 2. Then Number() is used which will reset @extended to 0 upon the call. Perhaps not necessarily always legitimate reasons but that's besides the point. If a method exists then why not take advantage of the fact - that's how I think most people see things. That's the whole thing and probably it's the most correct. Documenting this type of information regarding these functions or other built-ins should be left to developers.
