JohnOne
You know the way, you can add some lines to a user profile in scite, to get functions to show that little tooltip previewing the params of a function? Well is there an existing tool to scan a load of functions and auto parse them to create the entries into scite? To be honest, I wouldn't even know the search terms. JohnOne
Thanks M, exactly what I was after. I went through the process, but when I clicked save, I got an array error from your exe. Nonetheless, upon restart the tips were present. Cheers. AutoIt Absolute Beginners Require a serial Pause Script Video Tutorials by Morthawt ipify Monkey's are, like, natures humans. Moderators Melba23 Posted August 1, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 1, 2013 JohnOne,Not a lot I can do on such little evidence - if you can recall the precise actions that led to the error I will try and reproduce (and fix) it. JohnOne
Here are the steps taken. Start manager from tools menu of scite / scite config / other tools tab Browse for folder (in My documents) Select UDF Add descriptions to some functions, and skip others, some ask to be overwritten, some I do some I dont overwrite. It asked to select another UDF, I click OK, then click save. Sciteconfig.exe crashes, array error line 2902. All call tips are entered correctly after restart scite. EDIT: Win 7 pro 32 bit. Moderators Melba23 Posted August 1, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 1, 2013 JohnOne,Alas no array code on that line when I look at the source (and I am looking at the file after it is Obfuscated with /SO). I wonder if we have different version of SciTEConfig? Could you please post the version you have in your AutoIt3SciTESciTEConfig folder - and the AbbrevMan.au3 and UTCMan.au3 files as well. Then at least I stand a chance of working on the same source. jaberwacky
I did forget to mention that if you click 'Browse' and then select a folder which only has another folder then this error appears: Line 2995 Subscript used with non variable yadayadayada. It isn't a big deal. Most people aren't going to select a folder which only has folders. But anyways, it is what it is.
