TurboDragon Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Sorry if this is too basic and if I missed this in the Help file, but how do I use Send() to Send a double quote? Send("{"}") doesn't work Send(""") doesn't work etc. How do I escape the double-quote? Many thanks!
Starg Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 In the help file: If you want a string to actually contain a double-quote use it twice like:"here is a ""double-quote"" - ok?"

Edano Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 (edited) or chr(34) If you wish to send the ASCII value A four times, then try $x = Chr(65) Send("{" & $x & " 4}") helpfile .... Edit: should be the best solution, since he wants to send only one doublequote Edited August 1, 2013 by Edano FukuLeaks
TurboDragon Posted August 1, 2013 Author Posted August 1, 2013 OK, figured this one out . . . Just use Send(' " ') (enclose the double quote in single quotes)
Solution TurboDragon Posted August 1, 2013 Author Solution Posted August 1, 2013 Many thanks, Starba, Melba23, and Edano!
