kylomas
Unc3nZureD, If you are going to use the version that I posted take out the "getowner" references. Triggers error response intermittently. I never did track down why. Also, you may want to adjust the sampling interval. Watch WmiPrvSE.exe while running the script to tune it to your system. kylomas Forum Rules Procedure for posting code "I like pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Gianni
this may also be of interest (alternative without wmi) Chimp small minds discuss people average minds discuss events great minds discuss ideas.... and use AutoIt....
Ascend4nt
another flavor of WMI way... ... kylomas, nice example! Very cool. When you mention the sampling interval, I assume you're talking about the "WITHIN 0.1" part of the query-async line. What is 0.1? Is that 1/10th of a second? kylomas
Ascend4NT, Sorry about the delay responding.... Thanks, but the script is a modified kludge of a bunch of struff floatiing around. When you mention the sampling interval, I assume you're talking about the "WITHIN 0.1" part of the query-async line. What is 0.1? Is that 1/10th of a second? Yes, as explained here kylomas Forum Rules Procedure for posting code "I like pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us.
