kylomas
@czardas - It's implied by the fact that the OP wants to do something on 10 second intervals (granularity = seconds). I was responding to your statement about "drift". Now I'm starting to think one of two things: - we're skinning this cat in a bunch of different ways (without a lot of feedback from the OP) - I don't have a clue what I'm talking about... kylomas Forum Rules Procedure for posting code "I like pigs. czardas
If you take out the sleep in my code, the accuracy is much better, although the script will run your computer hot. Although I don't see much drift either way. Run your example for 24 hours and you will get drift. The amount of drift will depend on system resources and the number of interrupt processes during the 24 hour period. It will vary from machine to machine. Dizzy
Hi, thanks for your ideas and code. Maybe there was a small confusion. Yes, every PC will have a amount of drift over 24 hours, but this was not the problem. I just want to start my function 6 times a minute and that as good as possible exactly every 10 seconds. So i think, that the adlib method or the code from BrewManNH will almost do it for me. Problem solved - thanks! Dizzy
