If a row doesn't exist in Array

Hey All,

I want to do a certain set of conditions base of if there is no row 1 in an array.  When I pull the array from the website and there is no information there is only the column headers in row 0. 

I was thinking of having a variable pull out of an array example:   $invarray[1][1] 

If it fails do one thing and if it's successful do another.

Is this the best way to do this?  I haven't messed with the @error macro but have seen it built into input boxes frequently.

"If UBound($invarray) > 1 Then" will check the array to make sure it has more than 1 row.

Can you please post some code that shows what you are trying to do. My best guess is something like this:

If IsArray($inarray) Then
    If $inarray[1][1] = "" Then
        ;Nothing found
    Else
        ;Data found
    EndIf
EndIf

Can you please post some code that shows what you are trying to do. My best guess is something like this:

If IsArray($inarray) Then
    If $inarray[1][1] = "" Then
        ;Nothing found
    Else
        ;Data found
    EndIf
EndIf

 

IsArray tests whether or not the variant is an array type but it isn't good enough to allow you to access [1][1] directly in all cases.

For instance, DOM objects may return empty arrays and the latest beta introduces them as native AutoIt constructs.

Safe access to index [1][1] can only be asserted by

If UBound($aVar, 0) = 2 AND UBound($aVar, 1) > 1 AND UBound($aVar, 2) > 1 Then
    ; OK play with $aVar[1][1]
Else
    ; something got wrong
EndIf
