So anyway, this is bug in AutoIt. It can be seen only with "correct" combination of AutoIt and system. The cause is known (to me) and the solution also.

I can also say that even trivial to, be sure it will never be fixed. Don't waste your time.

If the solution is so trivial would it not be a good thing to share it with the Devs so that it can be fixed.

What has that got to do with anything. You say you know the solution so share it with those who can fix it.

Captain Obvious, check the documentation of the language. I was (and still am) official developer of AutoIt.

Anyway, if I had anybody to share with I would. If I wanted to fix that myself I would.

LOL. Go away.

Now I tested it on WinXP/Win7 with these two latest release/beta versions.

Reopened bug ticket as it's still not fixed in latest release/beta 3.3.8.1/3.3.9.4
Bug can be seen only on WinXP, on Win7 it's OK.

Note:
Bug isn't in 3.3.1.1 - based on information from bug ticket
Bug is in 3.3.1.3 on XP SP3 (trancexx)
--> so it was introduced in version 3.3.1.2 or 3.3.1.3

The issue is with XP only and considering XP is past its sell by date, it seems silly adding a "workaround" just for the sake of it.

Despite of that fact (comming end of XP support life cycle), XP has still more than 30% penetration which is still considerable amount.

I don't agree with this Jon's decision to ignore AutoIt's bugs on XP.

Anyway it's his right to do that and I have to accept that.
