Look up code in MS Word

Hey Folks,

Was wondering is there a way to connect with MS Word with autoit?

Like can I highlight a word in sciTE editor a piece of code I created or a function I created and have it open up in a specific word file where there is a description of it?

Sure you can connect to Word. Either by using the builtin Word UDF or my WordEX UDF.

Well now looking at it. Think it would be easier to just have someone look inside a word document and search for what they need.

What do you want to achieve? Create something like a help system (e.g. click F1 and return help information for the word the cursor was on).

No I mean say I give you my script and a word document. You look at my script and dont understand a specific function so you look at the word document and you get all the info about that function in there.

I see. In this case I would just give the user a well structured word document. I think it would be too much effort to create a script for this (hopefully rare case).
