7z32 UDF extracting only if folder is open in explorer

I'm having the strangest problem i've ever seen a program do. I hope you guys can help me.

I am using Patric Pendelin's 7z32 UDF to extract files to a specific folder. It works virtually flawlessly except for one small problem I am having with one single folder. The program extracts the contents of the 7z file sucessfully if I have an explorer window showing the contents of that folder. If explorer isn't showing the contents of that folder then the program reports success but when you check the files they aren't there.

Other 7z files extract perfectly to other folders.

And i'm using Windows XP Home Edition and AutoIT v3.3.8.1. Has anyone ever come accross this frustrating problem?
