While in Case statement not looping

In AutoIt, there are only 2 variable scopes, Local is for any variable used inside a function and is inaccessible outside that function directly (you can pass the contents of a local variable to another function, but the variable itself is only seen inside the function that you declared it in. Global variables are used for variables that need to be accessible anywhere in the script, whether outside or inside a function. A local variable with the same name as a Global variable will take precedence over the global variable, but won't affect the contents of the global variable.

Okay, sorry to bombard you with questions, you said that local are for variables declared in functions, are if statements and select statements considered separate functions or do you literally mean Func()?

A function is code written between Func...EndFunc. I would advise to study the help file thoroughly.

Yeah, I looked through http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/functions.htm to make most of my scripts and since its a list of functions I wasn't sure if you meant locals had to be declared in each function separately or just the general Func() EndFunc
