No, you misunderstood. I run an application once in a while that used to destroy the location of the TranscodedWallpaper, so when I would reboot the image wouldn't display and I would have to re-add it. Now this is not the case.

I am also trying to do a different wallpaper on each screen in case of a multidisplay station, right now i am reading all the _GDIPlus documentation... what a headcache

I am really interested to know how you cope with dual (or multiple) monitors.

Personally, I use the technique to Glue two bitmaps together before setting it as a background image.

The disadvantage is that both images should perfectly match the horizontal screen resolution of both monitors, otherwis you get nasty effects like one of the images trespassing the border of the other screen.

I had the same idea but it works only properly when primary monitor is to the left or upper the 2nd monitor. As soon as 2nd monitor is to the left or above primary monitor tilng trick will not work.

#include <Array.au3>
$hFullScreen = WinGetHandle("[TITLE:Program Manager;CLASS:Progman]")
$aFullScreen = WinGetPos($hFullScreen)
_ArrayDisplay($aFullScreen)

 

In other words: if $aFullScreen[0] or $aFullScreen[1] has negative values the trick will not work.

 

Might be that there is a trick of the trick to get this problem solved ...

Thanks for the info UEZ ;)Today after i quick search i have found a program that look interesting. Ultramon have also the function to set different wallpaper on different desktop. I have to take a look on how it do the work;)
