I'm assuming it's because Gmail does not allow you to use their smtp server.

Here's a list of open ones, or I'm sure you can use google to find other ones as well.

Error 4 means: "Unable to create socket"

I did read the help file, it says the error e not how to fix it... That is what I'm looking for...

Maybe something on your PC is blocking port 25?
