Constant keyword, does it have use when I create code for myself?

Yes a "Constant Checker". It will parse my AutoIt Script to determine whether or not I should add the Const keyword to a variable declaration line.

Ahhh, so it's looking for things that should be constants, and not looking for constants themself?

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Does your code recursively check variables changed in place (e.g. ReDim), for ByRef parms later assigned to (e.g. many _Array* functions) and differentiate truly Local Const vs truly Global Const?

If so, that's impressive!

This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available). An absolute must have in your bookmarks.
Another excellent RegExp tutorial. Don't forget downloading your copy of up-to-date pcretest.exe and pcregrep.exe here

PCRE v8.33 regexp documentation latest available release and currently implemented in AutoIt beta.

SQLitespeed is another feature-rich premier SQLite manager (includes import/export). Well worth a try.
SQLite Expert (freeware Personal Edition or payware Pro version) is a very useful SQLite database manager.
An excellent eBook covering almost every aspect of SQLite3: a must-read for anyone doing serious work.
SQL tutorial (covers "generic" SQL, but most of it applies to SQLite as well)
A work-in-progress SQLite3 tutorial. Don't miss other LxyzTHW pages!
SQLite official website with full documentation (may be newer than the SQLite library that comes standard with AutoIt)

It would be impressive, but mine is just a simple check for now and still requires some manual work afterwards. After changing a script I still run Au3Check to see if this is the case as you mentioned above with ByRef parameters.

I'm reluctant to post as I've only tested it against my code.

Don't think for a second that I asked just to detract the value of your tool!

I'm fully aware that 100% checking such property in all cases would require lot of work, probably easier to make as part of Au3check since the bulk of parsing is already there.

This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available). An absolute must have in your bookmarks.
