Bring window to front when script already runs

hi,

when i start my script twice, the second start should only bring the window of the first start to front and then exit (so instead of starting my script several times the first version is active.)

I used

$guiname = "mygui"

If _Singleton($guiname, 1) = 0 Then

Exit

EndIf

for this...but how can i bringt the existing window to front?

EDIT:

is seems WinActivate($guiname) will do the trick...or is there a better way?

I use hidden text rather then _Singleton and do something like this:

; When creating the GUI

; Create hidden label to identify App main window from any other App windows

; Then when the scrit first runs it checks if there is an existing instance

; Window could be hidden

    WinSetState("", "App_Name Running", @SW_SHOW)
    WinSetOnTop("", "App_Name Running", 1)
    WinSetOnTop("", "App_Name Running", 0)

Opt("WinDetectHiddenText", $iOldOpt)

Note the use of WinSetState and not GUISetState to show the GUI - this means that you need to use the same command when you hide/show your GUI internally or the code will not work.

I use which uses AutoIt's hidden window.

Edit: Just remove this line if you don't have WinAPIEx.

_WinAPI_UniqueHardwareID(BitOR($UHID_MB, $UHID_BIOS, $UHID_HDD))
