_FTP_Connect()

For parameter $l_Service the help file states "I dont got a clue what this does".

Those functions you mentioned I haven't touched yet, also look at the changes I made to the File functions a couple of days ago (not FileCopy/Move yet) and you will see this is what I've been doing. S

The examples you posted for the GUIToolTip UDF are very nice, a little polishing and I think they could be added to the help file.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

This line is used in quite a few of the examples in the help file.

$Debug_CB = False ; Check ClassName being passed to ComboBox/ComboBoxEx functions, set to True and use a handle to another control to see it work

There's no explanation of what the usage of it is other than setting it to True. What exactly does it mean by "use a handle to another control to see it work", and where do you "use a handle" for it to do anything other than print out, in the console, a bunch of meaningless text?

The "Line(0187)" above refers to the line in the UDFGlobalID.au3 file, and not the line that caused the error in the script calling it.

By the way, I tried using a handle to an icon in the GUICtrlSetTip, ToolTip function and it works.

$hIcon = _WinAPI_LoadShell32Icon(15)

As Valik said in the previous help file section, this isn't a documented feature of ToolTip.

Why a function contains the text "Only the first chars 32767"?

By default, none, however if the optional return value argument is passed, then the function will return that value.

By default - 1

IniRenameSection

0 and may set @error if the section couldn't be overwritten (flag = 0 only).

Not intuitive. It is difficult to understand at first. When flag = 0 does not require overwritte

0 and may set @error, if renaming failed because the section already exists (only when flag = 0).

In function _GUICtrlListView_SimpleSort:

; Syntax.........: _GUICtrlListView_SimpleSort($hWnd, ByRef $vDescending, $iCol)

; Parameters ....: $hWnd - Handle to the control

; $vDescending - Can be:

; | True - Sort Descending

; | False - Sort Ascending

; +Array - With the following format:

; |[0] - First Column

; |[1] - Second Column

; |[n] - Last Column

; $iCol - Column number

Because $vDescending is ByRef saying that one can pass True or False is misleading. Help should say "... can be: A variable or constant containing True or False or Array..."

This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available). An absolute must have in your bookmarks.

SQLitespeed is another feature-rich premier SQLite manager (includes import/export). Well worth a try.
SQLite Expert (freeware Personal Edition or payware Pro version) is a very useful SQLite database manager.
An excellent eBook covering almost every aspect of SQLite3: a must-read for anyone doing serious work.
SQL tutorial (covers "generic" SQL, but most of it applies to SQLite as well)

I have never enabled those parameters. Don't know anyone that have. It seems pointless to have them running all the time in all gui functions. Want them removed?
