How would the changes made to the "3rd party" help file be integrated into the official version? There is the wiki by the way, you guys can edit that if you want.

Those functions you mentioned I haven't touched yet, also look at the changes I made to the File functions a couple of days ago (not FileCopy/Move yet) and you will see this is what I've been doing. S

Why integrate into the official version? New files compiled into a temporary version. For example AutoIt3Wrapper updated between versions.

There is the wiki by the way, you guys can edit that if you want.

 

Does that make sense? There are even pastebin.com, an own website, other forums. I'm not saying about where I could upload their scripts and advertise AutoIt3

Why create a 3rd party option? It won't be official and will be double the work anyway, Why do you guys need a new help file, when the current version is bound to the stable version of AutoIt?

As I said before, the help file contains details that aren't necessarily in the current stable version (v3.3.8.1). The help file is updated for the next generation of AutoIt, not what is currently available.

99% is the correct text, comments on the most common issues. Just added a new "Null".

I've compared using the comparison programs. It is much easier to correct on little every day, than then at once there is a lot of.

In the help file it will be written the version so problems won't be.

I'm sorry, but no means no.

If a developer drops on by and say "sure guinness, we can upload it" then everything is fine. But Devs have the last word, so it's no use trying to convince me.

GUICtrlSetResizing -->> opens a blank page in SciTE with the name of the file

This works for me without a problem. If I have a *.au3 file in the editor and hit F1 while that is selected it opens the AutoIt help file to the correct area.

Use http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/functions/AutoItSetOption.htm, it's a web site issue, not a help file one.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Jon basically takes the compiled html files and uploads them to the site, these HTML files are generated by the custom Help File build scripts and one of these was somehow referencing Opt.htm.

can we create a file on the server called opt.htm
