this is some of my simple program that i made...

but it clicks on my desktop coordinates it doesnt click on the calculator...

I really got a lot of question in my mind... :graduated:

still learning autoit so im using windows program...

Try ControlClick instead with the use of Au3Info. Look at the help file to accompany your learning as well as using the Forum.

how do i write the code?

Well the help file isn't going to give you exactly what you need, everyone has different needs. Did you search the Forum as I suggested?

I will give you some pointers:

1. Navigate to C:Program FilesAutoItExamples and you will see a file called Calculator.au3, this will show you how to send data to Calc on a very basic level.

2. Since you're just wanting to learn, this is a good time then ever to learn how to use both the help file and Forum in conjunction with one another. Use google.com and site:autoitscript.com to search the Forum effectively.

Search terms: Run, WinActive, WinExist, ControlSend, Send, ControlClick, automate calc.

The best way to get help is to show what you have tried.

You do not need coordinates, they are optional and very rarely used, just leave them out.

The control ID is what you have wrong in your code.

Use window info and look at the control tab, advanced class.
