LeviStevens
Does anyone have any example scripts of how to script against Web API's? I am looking to automate some McAfee commands and all their examples are in PYTHON.I would rather use AutoIt. This goes against an HTTPS site where you need to provide user name & credentials to connect, and then execute command-line via URL.https://kc.mcafee.com/resources/sites/MCAFEE/content/live/PRODUCT_DOCUMENTATION/23000/PD23065/en_US/epo_460_scripting_guide_en-us.pdf
Moderators Melba23 Posted October 24, 2012 Moderators Share Posted October 24, 2012 LeviStevens,Firstly, why have you posted in the "Examples" section? Did you not see the banner at the top: "This is not a general support forum!"? I will move it for you, but please pay attention the next time you post. Secondly, please do not expect any support for the "provide user name & credentials to connect" part of the script. Iif you read the Forum Rules - particularly the bit about not discussing login scripts - you will see we do not support (or even tolerate discussion of) that sort of thing here. Finally, good luck!
