run notepad + controlsend lines

okay so my script run like a cirkel

and i want it run notepad and not open new ones

and is it possible to open notepad as inactive window?

If you don't want to open notepad every time through the loop, and just want to interact with one instance of it, then move the Run command to before the While statement.

As long as you have the Run statement inside the loop Notepad.exe will be started over and over again. Put the Run statement outside the loop at the top of your script.

its actually in a hotkeyfunc

that recall it self every time its done

so i need it to register if or ifnot notepad is open .

Please always post a complete reproducer script.

It wastes a lot of time if a user only posts a code snippet and after a few questions tells us that the real script does something completely different.

I believe you can use this to disable the window

WinSetState("[CLASS:Notepad]", "", @SW_DISABLE)

EDIT: turns out it doesn't work as inactive..and i don't know how to make it inactive, only way i can think of is a click outside of the window.
