Hi!

Here we go with v1.5. No new funcs but param $static no longer required.

Look to the future: Thinking about some more funcs, e.g. Caps running through text.

BTW: I would like to see the results if you use them in your scripts!

Hi!

Again new version. Now first of some color effects included, all together 10 new effects for you.

I recognized that this is my third post in a row which could lead my to the impression that you are not interested in this UDF.

Please post your experiences with it!

Edit: The code is now almost 50,000 characters and 1200 lines long. It should be worth a look.

Hi!

The demo gets longer in every version. Now I think it's langer than one and a half minute....

But it's worth it, isn't it?

Hi peethebee,

Looks great!

Perhaps a stupid question but I get an error on $SW_UNLOCK (undefined macro) (autoit-v3.1.1.67)

What could be the matter?

Hi!

I get this error too, but compiling it although this error is displayed, makes the exe run.

I think the wrong Au3Check is called, but taht shoulb be fixed with the next stable version.

Haven't had much time to look at till last night, without the $static param, there's flicker for the other controls, I put the $static back in and only use the lock/unlock for labels and this minimizes the flicker.

Other than that, your doing a great job.

Hi!

Thanks.

@static: I don't think its easy to use, if you have to specify the static param yourself. Is there perhaps a way, to find out what type of control is represented by the control id?

very nice Peethebee!

perhaps when you've got all these perfected you'd consider making a "Text Effects" designer, so users can "hash out" effects in the designer, then the designer would Clipput() code to be pasted into thier scripts.

Hi quaizywabbit!

I thought of exactly this too. Perhaps I start this evening (German time) because I think there won'T be much more than these 30 effects.

btw: I'm pleased to get feedback from a "professional" AutoIt coder *g*

I'm anything but "professional". But I do try to make things that are useful.

Keep up the good work!

EDIT::

might try: [after using ControlGetHandle()]

GetClassName Function

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The GetClassName function retrieves the name of the class to which the specified window belongs.

Syntax

int GetClassName(          HWND hWnd,

    LPTSTR lpClassName,

    int nMaxCount

);

Parameters

hWnd

[in]Handle to the window and, indirectly, the class to which the window belongs.

lpClassName

[out] Pointer to the buffer that is to receive the class name string.

nMaxCount

[in] Specifies the length, in TCHAR, of the buffer pointed to by the lpClassName parameter. The class name string is truncated if it is longer than the buffer and is always null-terminated.

Return Value

If the function succeeds, the return value is the number of TCHAR copied to the specified buffer.

If the function fails, the return value is zero. To get extended error information, call GetLastError.

Hi!

Your anygui.au3 has been impressing to me since I started coing with AutoIt.

Do you perhaps know a way, to find out what type of control is represented by the control id?

I'm thinking something along the ClassNameNN, not sure how to do it yet, if it contains "Static" then use the lock/unlock, just a matter of figuring out how to get the ClassNameNN.
