MariusN
I use to code with "autoit-v3-3-6-1setup.exe"...then, after installing "autoit-v3.3.8.1-setup.exe", i get an error in my "SecurityConstants.au3" file...The error reads as follows ---> ERROR: $STANDARD_RIGHTS_REQUIRED previously defined as a non-'Const' var. Global Const $STANDARD_RIGHTS_REQUIRED = 0x000f0000 As soon as i revert BACK to my older AutoIt, the error disapears...any ideas folks? OK...What i HAVE done is, replaced the NEW "SecurityConstants.au3" with the OLD one....and now it works....Is the FEASABLE to do so, or not? ...tia Edited September 4, 2012 by MariusN
BrewManNH
Sounds like there's more than one file that sets the variable, find out which one is causing the error rather than bandaiding a fix. There's probably a file that didn't get updated when you installed the newer version. MariusN 1 If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. Was too scared to uninstall everything. Will make a backup of all my "includes", uninstall...and then do a clean re-install...thanks BrewManNH
