houseonfire
I have a script here that i'm trying to make to help me out with my work stuff. It's basically a sync app It is taking all the files out of one folder and putting it on my other computer in the network, and opposite. My problem is, when its taking the files out of one folder and putting it into another, and there happens to be no files inside the folder, it gives me Subscript used with non-Array variable When I use the array. Its like for $b = 1 to $trill[0] When there is nothing inside the trill folder, it gives me the error. How do I skip the entire for... to... next function ? I've been working on this for hours but every time it gives me an error.. Thanks
water
How do you fill the array with files of the folder? This function usually returns an error when there are no files. dany
well, either check the @error value of the function you're using to fill the array or check if $trill is an array before entering the loop. houseonfire 1 Spiderskank SpiderskankGetOpt Parse command line options UDF | AU3Text Program internationalization UDF | Identicon visual hash UDF
water
The functions set @error to 2 or 3 if there is no file in the specified directory. Check this after you called _FileFind. houseonfire 1 My UDFs and Tutorials: Spoiler UDFs: Active Directory (NEW 2024-07-28 - Version 1.6.3.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - Wiki ExcelChart (2017-07-21 - Version 0.4.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts OutlookEX (2021-11-16 - Version 1.7.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - Wiki OutlookEX_GUI (2021-04-13 - Version 1.4.0.0) - Download Outlook Tools (2019-07-22 - Version 0.6.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Wiki PowerPoint (2021-08-31 - Version 1.5.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - Wiki Task Scheduler (2022-07-28 - Version 1.6.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Wiki Standard UDFs: Excel - Example Scripts - Wiki Word - Wiki Tutorials: ADO - Wiki WebDriver - Wiki
