better way to format date from an AD function?

Want to use _DateDiff

needs an input of YYYY/MM/DD

needs the slashes or the function doesnt work.

using an AD function called _AD_GetLastLoginDate which returns YYYYMMDDHHSS

Currently I'm using the following code to reformat the date into something that _DateDiff will accept. Wondering if there is a better way?

$sResult1 = _AD_GetLastLoginDate($sUsername)
$sResult1 = StringLeft($sResult1, 4) & "/" & StringMid($sResult1, 5, 2) & "/" & StringMid($sResult1, 7, 2)
ConsoleWrite($sResult1 & @CR)

I don't think you'll find a simpler method than the one you have already. If you need to convert a lot of dates then I suggest you create a function using the code you have.

Also, how did you get Scite to output to the console in red without prepending ! in front of it?

I think the text is in red by accident. I get this somethimes too without sending any special control characters to the console.

The debugging consolewrites are formatted so that they are output in red, this part of the line makes it print in red.

Everything after that doesn't affect the color of the line.
