Need help opening a folder!

Hey guys, the topic name most probably might not be relevant and you might think this is a noob quesion. Well anyways

I need help opening a picture within a folder in the Script dir. Is there a code for this?

In VB6 there is the app.path and stuff.

I need this because I want to make a bot that opens lots of pics via gimp and saves it as alpha and stuff. It will be opensource.

If you need a function to open a folder and let the user select a file you need: FileOpenDialog

Will this help me in opening a pic within the folder or will it just open the folder for the user?

It will display the file selection dialog.

What do you mean by "opening a picture"? Read it into a variable, display it ...?

I want AutoIT to open a picture via GIMP and then save with alpha blending.

Use function "Run" or "RunWait" to start GIMP and pass the filename plus processing options in batch mode as describe here.
