Invalid FileInstall

Hi guys, i have problem with FileInstall:

Global $Dest = @TempDir & "_Temp"

DirCreate($Dest)

For $i = 0 To 9
FileInstall("._TempX0" & $i & ".bmp", $Dest & "X0" & $i & ".bmp", 1)
FileInstall("._TempY0" & $i & ".bmp", $Dest & "Y0" & $i & ".bmp", 1)
Next

For $i = 10 To 60
FileInstall("._TempX" & $i & ".bmp", $Dest & "X" & $i & ".bmp", 1)
FileInstall("._TempY" & $i & ".bmp", $Dest & "Y" & $i & ".bmp", 1)
Next

I have a folder with X01.bmp X02.bmp Y01.bmp etc...

Work fine, it install the files but when i'm trying to compile i have the error:

INVALID FILEINSTALL FUNCTION()

So work if the file is .au3 but i can't compile into .exe

What is the problem?

It is NOT a bug. :rolleyes:

As you can read in the Help file:

"The source file must be specified using a string literal and can not be a variable, a calculation nor function call. The file must be able to be found during compiling, however variables, calculations and function calls do not get resolved until the script itself is running, long after compiling, making them unsuitable to define the source file."

In your script you are using a variable to define the file - hence it will not work. ;)

Look at FileInstallr in my signature to take the pain out of the process or use 7-Zip for example.
