I just need to read a multiple line file from a text file and remove part of the line i.e.:

Line in Text File:

DTSTART;VALUE=DATE-TIME:20120717T100000

Removing:

DTSTART;VALUE=DATE-TIME:

Leaving:

20120717T100000

Been messing with this for quite a while any suggestions would be great thanks

Is the line always going to have "DTSTART;VALUE=DATE-TIME:" in it? If so, you can just do a trim on it. Look at:

StringTrimLeft()
