AndyS01 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 I have a script that monitors Network connection up and Down times, but it's somewhat inaccurate. Every second, I ping a known URL and if the ping fails, I count that as 1 second of down time. The problem with this method is that it depends on the responder sending a response. What I would really want to do is monitor the actual connection for up/down status, but I haven't found any way to do this. AndyS01 Posted June 29, 2012 Author Posted June 29, 2012 Thanks, both of these methods worked (although the MsgBox Warning message was interesting ) I was too quick to ask. My Google search was not worded right. After I saw your response, I Googled your methods and got lots of interesting examples.
