Shutdown corrupt config files

When i use Shutdown(9) I often get corrupted configuration files (Foobar2000, Vlc, Notepad++, ...).

Files. " ini" text becomes incomprehensible binary.

No problem with Shutdown dos command.

To some it's the same?
