How do I try this, I mean 3.3.9.4 has an installer which works along side

release version.

Do I have to un-install release version?

Or can I plop the files into the beta folder?

Put it in a new folder and run your scripts manually or add a custom menu entry to SciTE or overwrite the beta or ...

Use 3.3.9.4, 3.3.9.5 isn't available for download.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

can somebody upload the file to a hoster? can't wait for alpha-status,

seeing that release cycles are quite long :(

i want the Local $array[0] and the Local $var = Null features :((

cant you kick out the stuff you declare alpha and release 3.3.9.5 beta using the

simple features? the last full release is quite some time ago :(

There will be a new release when Jon decides - until then you will have to live with the release and current Beta versions. And for various reasons, which I will not go into in detail, any new release will almost certainly only have a subset of the advances trialled in the Alpha releases of last year. So I would advise people not get used to using any/all of the features introduced in those Alpha versions in their code - or they may find that they have created problems for themselves when a new release does come along which does not support them. ;)
