guinness
Perhaps you should use a different example with xcopy as I don't feel like copying the contents of C:Windows to C:TEMP today. jasc2v8
Fortunately the example uses the "xcopy /L" option so it does not really copy any files, just lists them. I agree it would be too onerous to copy such a large number of files in an example. Edited April 29, 2012 by jasc2v8
jasc2v8
Aren't these just variations of _RunDOS?The differences are _RunCMD_Window, _RunCMD_GUI, and _WinPath._RunCMD is indeed just a variation of _RunDOS just to "round out" the UDF. BrewManNH
Actually, your _RunWaitCmd is a direct copy of _RunDOS and only the variable names have been changed, with no credit given to the original author or its origin. Your _RunWaitCMD_Window is just _RunDOS using Run and showing the window, again with no credit given to the original author or its origin. jasc2v8
I agree that it is imperative to credit the original work of others and the source of the work. That is why I have done so in the RunCMD UDF headers.
