Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted March 23, 2012 Moderators Share Posted March 23, 2012 Hi, system32. First off, you're putting "Run" in the Value section, when it is part of your key. Also, RegRead is not the best if you want to loop through all the values under a key. Check the help file for RegEnumVal. Something like this should get you started: For $i = 1 To 10 $var = RegEnumVal("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun", $i) If @error Then ExitLoop MsgBox(0, "", $var) Next Come on back if you run into any issues BrewManNH 1 "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind. BrewManNH
Try this instead, because your RegRead is written wrong. ;~ $var = RegRead("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersion", "Run") For $i = 1 To 100 Local $var = RegEnumVal("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun", $i) If @error <> 0 Then ExitLoop ConsoleWrite("Value Name #" & $i & " under Run key " & @CRLF & $var & @CRLF) Next If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
