benydc Posted March 13, 2012 Share Posted March 13, 2012 I have my parent GUI, created everything and works fine if I close it but when I open the 2nd GUI with a button from parent GUI I cannot close it all, neither the parent GUI. I cannot understand why :-( Here is my code: expandcollapse popup#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> #include <EditConstants.au3> #include "GUIScrollbars_Ex.au3" #include <ButtonConstants.au3> #include <GuiEdit.au3> #include <GDIPlus.au3> #include <IE.au3> #Include <WinAPI.au3> _IEErrorHandlerRegister() _GDIPlus_Startup() Opt("GUIOnEventMode", 1) Local $oIE = _IECreateEmbedded() Local $oIEAdv = _IECreateEmbedded() $hGUI = GUICreate("Test1", 850, 880, _ (@DesktopWidth - 850) / 2, (@DesktopHeight - 880) / 2, _ $WS_OVERLAPPEDWINDOW + $WS_VISIBLE + $WS_CLIPSIBLINGS + $WS_CLIPCHILDREN) ; Declare a flag GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_CLOSE, "_Exit") _GUIScrollbars_Generate($hGUI, 840, 880) GUICtrlCreateObj($oIE, 10, 10, 820, 700) GUICtrlCreateObj($oIEAdv, 320, 725, 510, 95) $Accounts = GUICtrlCreateButton("Accounts", 225, 720, 70, 20) GUICtrlSetOnEvent($Accounts, "AccountMng") GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) ;Show GUI ; Intercept Windows command messages with out own handler GUIRegisterMsg($WM_COMMAND, "_WM_COMMAND") _IENavigate($oIE, "some URL") _IENavigate($oIEAdv, "some URL") ; Waiting for user to close the window While 1 $nMsg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $nMsg Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case $GUI_EVENT_RESTORE _GUIScrollbars_Restore($hGUI) Case $GUI_EVENT_MINIMIZE _GUIScrollbars_Minimize($hGUI) EndSwitch WEnd Func AccountMng() $AccList = GUICreate("Form1", 203, 174) GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_CLOSE, "_Exit") GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) GUIRegisterMsg($WM_COMMAND, "_WM_COMMAND") Do Local $nMsg = GUIGetMsg() Until $nMsg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE EndFunc It does not close at all... it must be something wrong inside the 2nd GUI function, the loop.. right? BrewManNH Posted March 13, 2012 Share Posted March 13, 2012 This Opt("GUIOnEventMode", 1) does not work with this Local $nMsg = GUIGetMsg(). You have to choose one method of reading controls or the other, you can't intermix them. With the first option set, the GUIGetMsg is always going to return 0. benydc 1 If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise.
