Using the ` with key presses

Here's the code I'm currently using:

Run("notepad.exe")

HotKeySet("`", "`")

While 1

MouseGetPos()

sleep(30)

WEnd

Func ="`" ()

Send("/give user")

EndFunc

However each time I run the code I get errors, is there a different way to point to the ` key?

Or if you have better code let me know I'd love to learn more!

HotKeySet("`", "a_meaningful_function_name")
HotKeySet("{ESC}", "_exit")
While 1
    MouseGetPos()
    Sleep(30)
WEnd

Func a_meaningful_function_name()
    Send("/give user")
EndFunc   ;==>a_meaningful_function_name

Func _exit()
    Exit
EndFunc

You can only use alphanumeric characters for variable and function names with very few exceptions (such as the underscore). Also, you don't use = in a function name or header.
