Hi 

ISI360, Can you make the code editor like visual studio ?. I mean, when we type "If" and "Then" and press enter in visual studio, it will automatically add the "End If" in next line. Not only for if statement, but also, For , while do loops. Can you add this feature to ISN studio ?

@ISN360 Thanks a lot.. It's my dream that make an IDE with features like Visual studio. For a few days , i have thought in my mind that making an IDE for Autoit. But i don't know how to run the compiler with my IDE.. Anyhow, i am expecting your reply. Thanks a lot.

@ISN360, i have made a tool that automatically paste an "Endif" to SciTE but it has some problems.

So my current experiment is working very well. Every time you write an "if" and press the Space key (as you did when you write your code) id add an EndIf in the next line. (My version with Enter instatt of Space is buggy ^^)

So you can expect it in the next version!

PS: And of course i will make it with other keywoards too!

@ISN360 I am eagerly waiting for the next version. I have some suggestions for next version

1. Automatically enters "EndIf/EndFunc/EndSwitch/EndSelect/WEnd/Next/Until"

2. Autosave option i.e User can set a dedicated folder in ISN Autoit Studio. And each time a new file is created, it is automatically saved a dedicated file name(for eg. Untitled_1). 

3. Automatically insert dollar sign($) after "Local/Global" keywords.

4. Automatically detect variable names. current version is not detecting variables when we type them later

4) Here I´m not really sure what youre meaning. If its enabled the ISN should list Variables in the Autocomplete Liste when you press $ Key.

for example I very often making new script to test something

so If I use it then It would be nice if I can define a base name for example "test_" but the rest part of this name can change every time

@mLipok, You can easily do it with a script . When the save file dialouge is appeared, you can paste the first word from scite into file name textbox.

I think my proposal can be an "optional option" (additional configurable feature) inside ISN AutoIt Studio.

Hmm can you explain me 2) a little bit more? 

This has nothing to do with autosaving, or?

so if i understand you right you create a new file (eg testfile.au3) and the isn should create the file and a 2nd file with a prefix. (pre_testfile.au3)

(At the same folder?)

and isnt this the same if i simply make a copy of the file? (with rightclick on file and choose make copy)

Or do i missunderstand that? ^^

Assume that i am starting ISN Studio. I just click on new file and a new au3 file is opended. On the same time ISN Studio should automatically save the file in the dedcated folder and dedicated name. There is no need of a copy. If the user wants a special or uniqe file name, he can use save as menu. And why i am asking this feature because, some time (most time) we need to check some codes. When we add a new file to isn studio and sart typing. But when we press run button, it will ask us to save this file somewhere. Most probably the file save dialogue's directory is not our intended location. Then we need to browse for our location and need to type file name. If you add an auto save feature, it is very helpful. And if you are thinking it is a bad idea, then you can add a check box in settings, to toggle this feature.

Edit; As per this feature,  only a one time auto saving is needed. No need for saving particular intervels

Yes often the $ auto complete works, other times not so well but if one creates a new $ the "AC" don't pick it up until the script is saved.

Normally I wouldn't ask a dev how long he is with his dev. but I still have the issue with the wrapper and script clearing (I some times forget to save before I run the wrapper ), so just waned to here if you have an estimate on the .98 version?
