BrewManNH
I think the problem lies elsewhere because I just ran your script using 3.3.8.0 and it worked fine. This is on Windows Vista, x86. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. LarsJ
The problem is the rcChevronLocation and uChevronState members of the tagREBARBANDINFO structure in StructureConstants.au3 which are only valid for Vista and higher. If you are using 3.3.8.0 on XP then an easy solution is to uncomment the $tagREBARBANDINFO structure declaration in StructureConstants.au3 and insert the 3.3.6.1 version of this structure. The 3.3.6.1 version of the $tagREBARBANDINFO structure declaration in StructureConstants.au3: Global Const $tagREBARBANDINFO = "uint cbSize;uint fMask;uint fStyle;dword clrFore;dword clrBack;ptr lpText;uint cch;" & _ "int iImage;hwnd hwndChild;uint cxMinChild;uint cyMinChild;uint cx;handle hbmBack;uint wID;uint cyChild;uint cyMaxChild;" & _ "uint cyIntegral;uint cxIdeal;lparam lParam;uint cxHeader" Controls, File Explorer, ROT objects, UI Automation, Windows Message MonitorCompiled code: Accessing AutoIt variables, DotNet.au3 UDF, Using C# and VB codeShell menus: The Context menu, The Favorites menu. Shell related: Control Panel, System Image ListsGraphics related: Rubik's Cube, OpenGL without external libraries, Navigating in an image, Non-rectangular selectionsListView controls: Colors and fonts, Multi-line header, Multi-line items, Checkboxes and icons, Incremental searchListView controls: Virtual ListViews, Editing cells, Data display functions
wraithdu
I think you could also alter the cbSize member based on platform to remove the size of the tagRECT structure and the uChevronState member.
WinkleDoodle
Thanks, Lars and wraithdu Certainly there's more elagant fixes around.. but I used this code instead to have WinXP and Win7+ support. Global $tagREBARBANDINFO Switch @OSVersion Case "WIN_2003", "WIN_XP", "WIN_XPe", "WIN_2000" $tagREBARBANDINFO = "uint cbSize;uint fMask;uint fStyle;dword clrFore;dword clrBack;ptr lpText;uint cch;" & _ "int iImage;hwnd hwndChild;uint cxMinChild;uint cyMinChild;uint cx;handle hbmBack;uint wID;uint cyChild;uint cyMaxChild;" & _ "uint cyIntegral;uint cxIdeal;lparam lParam;uint cxHeader" Case Else $tagREBARBANDINFO = "uint cbSize;uint fMask;uint fStyle;dword clrFore;dword clrBack;ptr lpText;uint cch;" & _ "int iImage;hwnd hwndChild;uint cxMinChild;uint cyMinChild;uint cx;handle hbmBack;uint wID;uint cyChild;uint cyMaxChild;" & _ "uint cyIntegral;uint cxIdeal;lparam lParam;uint cxHeader;" & $tagRECT & ";uint uChevronState" EndSwitch
