I am trying to get following things for a folder:

  • number of file (only folder);
  • number of file (folder and subfolders);
  • number of file with one or more specific extensions (only folder);
  • number of file with one or more specific extensions (folder and subfolders);
Probably you are getting angry with me... I know but I did only the first thing.

What are you going to suggest me?

Melba's file is really powerful!

really I don't understand how you can spend much time to build files like that!

UEZ, thank you for your links... today I try to get same result with other scripts, but I am still searching where users post their scripts.

in that case it should be easier to find files for own library.

here there is what I wrote:

You don't need to use UBound as Melba's UDF returns the total file count in the 0th index e.g. $aArray = _RecFile.... would contain the count in $aArray[0].
