HotKeySet Conflict

Hi Again!

I'm now faced with another problem... brief description I cant post my program its now more than 3,000 lines:

I kindda set the HotKeySet "enter key" to activate a button whenever a user pressed enter while the cursor(focus) is in a particular control, its working(within the form).

However,

- if I put the cursor to the control where the HotKeySet is activated

- and leave it there

- then go to another application, say Notepad

- press "enter" in Notepad

- instead of the normal behavior it activates the HotKeySet in the form while the form is inactive.

Maybe what I need is some way of checking whether my applications form is active or not and if not HotKeySet is set to default, how do I do that? I already went through the forum and Google but out of luck

Thanks in advance again.

zbatev,

Look at GUISetAccelerators in the Help file. They are like HotKeys, but are only active when your GUI has focus. :)
