BrewManNH
The version packaged with 2.28 and 2.27 full Scite4autoit3 both have that error message on my computer as well. The version that came with 3.3.6.1 works without a problem. I'm guessing they created the .exe with a version of VS that needs a different dll than comes with the standard Win 7 install.EDIT: Trac ticket opened for this issue. BrewManNH
I personally only used it once for a project I was creating, and found out that I could do it just as well by myself if not much better. I just happened to see this thread and tried it out and found that there was a problem with it. AdmiralAlkex
I'm pretty sure that is a redistibutable file, so here is the file from my own machine.File is on filebeam.I would rather download the installer from Microsoft, then you get the whole package + Windows Update will be able to pull (security) updates for it.Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64) .Some of my scripts: ShiftER, Codec-Control, Resolution switcher for HTC ShiftSome of my UDFs: SDL UDF, SetDefaultDllDirectories, Converting GDI+ Bitmap/Image to SDL Surface

JohnOne
Yes, the file most likely belongs in the system directory. Doesn't matter anyway, best to use the MS files linked. rgrosz78
I have two computers running Windows 7 64 bit. The above steps did not quite do the trick for me. I had to install the latest updates to the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 runtime files. Then I had to copy the file msvcr100_clr0400.dll from C:WindowsSysWOW64 to C:\Windows\System32\ and rename it.After all that, I still could not run Au3Recorder from within SciTE. I had to create a desktop shortcut instead.
rgrosz78
By doing the various DLL changes, I broke Firefox on one of my PCs running Windows 7 64-bit. I had to restore from a backup and try again. Second time around, I used the I simply created and renamed Au3Record.exe in this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\Extras\Au3RecordIt still did not run from within SciTE (missing DLL error), so I installed the Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package as mentioned above. After I restarted Windows, Au3Recorder works correctly - no copying or renaming of DLL files necessary. ANd Firefox 10.0.1 is also working properly.
