I made an image using GImageX v2 on a laptop harddrive (dell latitude d830, 7200 RPM 160 Gb hdd). The HDD was about to crash so I created the WIM and put it on the network share. Now the new HDD has came in today, it was in a RAW state so I did a quick format to NTFS. I used my hirens 15.0 disc and booted into mini windows xp, went to GImageX v2- and tried to "Apply" the WIM to the NTFS drive. The four errors that I immediately receive are:

Starting to apply...

ERROR: C:\Docuemtns and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Real\RealUpgrade.[Restore Sec. Descriptor: (seq. 30) -> SetSecurityInfo() failed] [err = 1340]

ERROR: C:\Docuemtns and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Real\RealUpgrade [err = 1340]

ERROR: Error applying WIM.

ERROR: The inherited access control list(ACL) or access control entry (ACE) could not be built.

Any help on this would be much appreciated!!!.

Since its probably not the part where you put in your warez disc and booted to your warez O/S...you should leave that part out.

Being that there were issues prior I would just mount the image and remove the file/folder its erroring on, try again.

I figured if the file was gone, it would not try to set the security info, thus no ACE.
