Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted November 17, 2011 Moderators Share Posted November 17, 2011 Hi, Tarwada, is this regarding a GUI you have created, or a button on an webpage or some other form? If you could provide us with a little more information (maybe a sample of the code you're working on) we would be much better equipped to assist TarwadaC4 1 "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind. Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted November 17, 2011 Moderators Share Posted November 17, 2011 It appears that you have most of what you need already: #include <ButtonConstants.au3> #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> Opt("TrayMenuMode", 1) #Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form= $Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 615, 438, 192, 124) $Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Button1", 40, 160, 201, 73) $Button2 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Button2", 288, 160, 225, 73) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) #EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ### While 1 $nMsg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $nMsg Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case $Button1 ;Your code based on what you want $Button1 to do goes here. Case $Button2 ;Your code based on what you want $Button2 to do goes here. EndSwitch WEnd "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind. BrewManNH
I would suggest looking in the help file under the GUIGetMsg command and examine the example script there. It shows how to code for several different types of controls. It should give you insight into what is needed for each of them. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. Moderators Melba23 Posted November 17, 2011 Moderators Share Posted November 17, 2011 TarwadaC4,Have you read the Help file sections and looked at those tutorials as I suggested here? I think not! Do take the time to read them - it will really help you learn how AutoIt works. I know you want to start coding NOW, but a little study will save you a lot of trouble later on, believe me.
