MariusN
I have the following ---> $msg1 = XMSGBOX(64 + 256, "Permissions Restorer", "Set permissions for: ", "Registry", "Folder", "File") "Registry" returns = 6 "Folder" returns = 7 "File" returns = 2 Thing is, when you press the "x" (close) button, it returns value = 2 (the same as the "File"-button). Is there a way that instead of giving the value of 2, the "x" -button can just straight forward EXIT? (PS: the FILE and CLOSE (x) now have the same return value of 2....and as thus stuffs around my code thx folks
nitekram
Not sure what you are asking - but if you could post the code from the function you are calling - someone might be able to help. 2¢ All by me:"Sometimes you have to go back to where you started, to get to where you want to go." somdcomputerguy
See the GUIEventOptions option, the GUIGetMsg function, and maybe even the GUIOnEventMode option. With these you can do what you want, but I don't know how to work this into a MsgBox.. I guess by creating your own little MsgBox type GUI's.. - Bruce /*somdcomputerguy */ If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. Moderators Melba23 Posted September 26, 2011 Moderators Share Posted September 26, 2011 MariusN,You could always try the ExtMsgBox UDF in my sig - you do get different returns for the [X] and the buttons from that!
