rcmaehl
Can someone make me an updated version of this: I'd update it myself but I'm VERY busy coding the program it's going to be used in, the project is linked in my signature called URIT. Thanks a bunch -Robert C. Maehl My UDFs are generally for me. If they aren't updated for a while, it means I'm not using them myself. As soon as I start using them again, they'll get updated. My Projects WhyNotWin11Cisco Finesse, Github, IRC UDF, WindowEx UDF
guinness
Whats the real reason for not updating it yourself? It's great you're active but ... as I've understood the General Help & Support section is for helping those with code, demanding people to help you update an existing UDF without any idea or inclination of why that UDF isn't working currently really puts you in a bad light. guinness
I updated my last post. Why not prioritise your coding schedule? Whats the rush for getting this done so quickly? Also you're referencing your 'HUGE PROJECT' but I can't seem to find any code? So if I were to help it would be nice to see what you have so far. I think your smoke screen of being to busy is a poor and embarrassing one, and does not mask you inability and downright laziness. I hope you get blown out. I mean that in the nicest possible way. I'm not trying to hoodwink people into making it for me, if I could, I'd make this entirely by myself. I NEED help. I CAN'T do this by myself because I DON'T know the best methods, I DON'T know everything, and I WANT to learn. I have enough stress every day with school work, that just ATTEMPTING this project is making me pull my hair out trying to figure things out. I'd prefer not to be seen badly, but, if I must, I will scrap this project and never speak of it again. JohnOne
Do what you want with your project, its yours. But posting a piece of code up and asking people to upgrade it for you while you go and make better use of your own time, and swan back to a boil in the bag code, ready to slap in a gui is nothing less than insulting to the good people on here. Best of luck. AutoIt Absolute Beginners Require a serial Pause Script Video Tutorials by Morthawt ipify Monkey's are, like, natures humans. BrewManNH
Instead of jumping in with both feet and being in over your head, which I can see that you are, you should try to do small projects first and learn as much of the language as you can before tackling something that you have no skills to accomplish. Your idea is above your skill set at the moment, and until you can handle something of that scale and complexity, you probably should shelve it.
