Phaser Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Hi all Currently as we enter our data without problems it has been decided it would be good to see how many sets we have done, I tried using GUICtrlCreateLabel which works but as we get into thousands I realised it is actually overwriting the old amount so starts slowing down, is there any way I can display AND update th GUI with the current count GUICtrlCreateLabel("DataSetsAdded = " & $doc_count, 10, 25) I cant find a way of updating a text box?
BrewManNH Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 You are probably creating new labels with updated information rather than just updating the current label. Use GUICtrlSetData(<your labels handle>, "DataSetsAdded = " & $doc_count) as an example of how to do it. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
