If you like you can start to play with the new functions in version 0.8.0.1

The next release will combine 0.7.1.1 and 0.8.0.1 into a single UDF and will take care of the AutoIt version and the COM error handling you use.

The enhanced _OL_ItemSearch function that supports DASL queries will be part of the UDF.

Just found this UDF and it looks great!

I'm having some trouble, however. It's probably something I'm doing with the syntax, but what I'm attempting to do is add an appointment to a shared calendar on our exchange server. I can't seem to connect to the shared calendar. From the help I would think the format I want to use is \\mailbox\\Calendar. Getting down to the basics I'm just trying to use the _OL_FolderExists function. When I run it against * it works, when I run it against my own mailbox with "myusername@domain.com\calendar" it works, but when I run it against any other mailbox I'm getting that the folder does not exist. I've tried all kinds of different leading/trailing slash combinations and am not having any luck.

Does the mailbox have to be actually added to Outlook for these to work? I have added them via the "Open a Shared Calendar" feature.

Thanks for any help!

The folder hasn't to be accessed because _OL_FolderExists calls _OL_FolderAccess under the cover. Unfortunately _Ol_FolderExists has a bug so it doesn't work for shared calendars.

Just use _OL_FolderAccess and check the returncode.

Water,

I downloaded the EX .zip file. I opened it up. I read the README. I put all the files where you told me to. I looked through the long list of functions. I cannot find any file that says, "Create and outgoing email."

Is there any way you can help me. I just need to Create an outgoing email WITHOUT SENDING.

I would really appreciate your help. Thank you.

To create a mail item use function _OL_ItemCreate. Example 4 in script _OL_ItemCreate.au3 show how to use it (or the _OL_ItemCreate.htm of course).

You delete function _OL_Open from the example script. _OL_Open has to be called before any other function.

The error code is returned by _OL_Open or _OL_ItemCreate?
