Syed23 Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Hi All, I have createn a tool with the help of Excel.au3 and i am using function _ExcelWriteFormula() to find the average,sum and multiplications. Where this is working fine in English machines but this is unable to write the formula results in other language machines (office also other language) even this is not reporting any error message! any suggesstions would be great! water Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 (edited) Hi Syed23, I once had the same problem and someone on this forum suggested the following solution: ; Set language dependant Excel function (1031 = german) $sEXCElFunction = "=COUNTIF" If $oExcel.LanguageSettings.LanguageID($msoLanguageIDUI) = 1031 Then $sEXCElFunction = "=ZÄHLENWENN" This means to put every needed Excel function into a variable and at the beginning of the script set the variables to the language dependant Excel functions.
