Sven Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 And nobody giving a "thank you" for this as of yet? Well, here's mine: Thank You! Haven't tested this yet, but will do so later today. This will be used in a script that manages NTFS junctions. These junctions are created by the script and removed on script exit. Problem is the computer might crash (usually doesn't; it's just a safeguard mechanism), so putting something into RunOnce that removes junction leftovers on system startup is a pretty nice way to do things.

Also I recently found out that there is a big difference when using a single If...Then statement on 1 line. someone Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I don't know how useful this would be for the community, but what would you think about adding support for the RunOnceEx reg keys, not just the runonce key? I believe the difference is the runonceex runs later then the runonce key does after the explorer shell is loaded, and in the past I've had some commands I could not run with runonce that I had to use runonceex for. This is the best site I can find for a decent explanation between the two (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms940034%28WinEmbedded.5%29.aspx). If you think it could be useful to add support for, I'd be more then happy to help with the coding when I can. Let me know what you think. The coding for how runonceex looks is very different then your normal runoncekey though. I'll post an example in au3 of what I had to do to make somethings run, give me probably 30 minutes.
