"open /dev/snd/seq failed" in Wine

Hey there,

got some problems with autoit and Wine (In Linux a virtual Windows). When i start any compiled au3 file i got an error:

ALSA lib seq_hw.c:457:(snd_seq_hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: No such file or directory

Well, i know, that on this Wine is no Soundcard installed, the problem is, that i can't administrate this Linux server.

But why does AutoIt automaticly want to initalize a soundcard? I nerver used some "Sound..." commands in the script files

Hope somebody can help me.

Looks more like a Wine problem.

in wine you cant access files like that. try open Z:\dev\snd\seq...... use explorer to find out what drive letter is.

Hmm.. Well, as I said I think that is a problem with the sound card.

But i got a lot of errors, that I do not have any permissions:

so, i think autoit tries to initalize the Soundcard. Can I stop autoit to do that?

The problem is that AutoIt isn't designed to run under Wine. You will encounter problems.

Well, but it seems like autoit works very well on wine. But it doenst, if no soundcard is installed ;P

So is there any possibility to ignore the sound commands?
